USB Connectivity Configuration

Turn on Verifone e355 by holding down the

[GREEN]

key

Enter the "Engineering Menu" by pressing the

[YELLOW]

and

[1]

keys at the same time.

Enter the default password: "12345678". See FAQ for instructions on changing your password.

Scroll down and enter the “Comms Setup” menu.

Select “Comm Type”.

Select the “USB” option and confirm by pressing the

[GREEN]

key.

Exit the “Engineering menu” by repeatedly pressing the

[RED]

key.

Verify that the e355 now appears as a COM port named "VX GEN 3 Terminal" in the Device Manager of your PC.
